The Help to Claim service is a high profile, national service funded by Department for Work and Pensions and managed by Citizens Advice. The service delivers high quality advice and support to clients to make a new claim for Universal Credit over the phone or via webchat. You can discover more about the service on this medium post.

We are looking for an adviser with good communication and IT skills to support clients to make and complete their new Universal Credit claim, as well as a commitment to the aims and principles of the Citizens Advice Service. You’ll have a good understanding of the benefits system including Universal Credit.

You’ll have the ability to interview clients using sensitive listening and questioning skills to get to the root of issues and empower clients. You’ll be confident in maintaining structure and control of meetings and delivering a high quality service.

  • Salary up to £25,000 pro rata     
  •  Full and Part Time hours available
  • 4.6 weeks annual leave pro rata
  • Fixed Term Contract until 31 March 2023
  • Pension Scheme available
