Citizens Advice offices across Oxfordshire are delighted to announce that the charity is taking part in this year’s #GivingTuesday campaign, to be held on the 3rd of December 2019.

The charity’s free advice and support helped over 280 families in Oxfordshire keep a roof over their heads last year. Over 500 families across Oxfordshire gained a combined total of £2.9 million in income. 282 pensioners were supported with attendance allowance applications. This helped them to receive a combined extra £1.1million income to cover their care costs.

Every year thousands of people come to Citizens Advice for free advice and help to solve their problems. Last year, the charity helped 24,500 people across Oxfordshire with 73,000 issues such as benefits, housing, debt, benefits, employment, relationships and consumer rights.

The charity needs to raise funds to keep supporting the thousands of people who need its help each year. In addition to applying for grants, Citizens Advice Oxfordshire relies heavily on donations to ensure everyone who walks through the door or calls the charity can be helped.

By donating to Citizens Advice, it will help the charity continue its vital work across Oxfordshire in 2020.  Change someone’s life for the better by donating on
