Written by Citizens Advice West Oxfordshire are ramping up their successful Energy Best Extra Deal project for winter 2018/19. This free energy advice service helps people understand their energy costs and suggests alternative ways to make savings.
Advice sessions range from checking if clients are eligible for the £140 Warm Home Discount, registering eligibility with the Priority Register for people in need, helping with supplier price comparisons and much more.
On average, clients save £150 to £200 per year. In total Citizens Advice helped people save £7398.51 from 1 November 2017 to 30 March 2019.
